Murano is the smallest full range speaker of the Cabasse Artis high-end series. As such, it benefits from innovations initially developed for the reference La Sphère: the co-axial midrange-tweeter, the specific technologies involved in the design of the woofer. The honeycomb dome membrane and the powerful long through motor system enable the 17 cm woofer of Murano to provide clean and deep low frequencies. With 1,000 W peak power handling, any type of music will be sublime with a pair of Murano's, at low or high levels, in small or large rooms.

The heart of the Murano is indubitably the 3-way co-axial TC23, assembled and quality assured in Cabasse's French workshops (and which is fitted to the flagships La Sphère and L’Océan), the BC13 guarantees a faithful straightforward tonal balance without any auditory strain, for a deep and incredibly realistic soundstage. In keeping with their esteemed pedigree for innovation, Cabasse have embellished the Murano a little further, as they have thoughtfully fitted it with a new aluminium wave guide - specifically designed for optimal output with the Murano bass driver.

Coupled with the 3-way coaxial is the honeycomb dome woofer. This new 17ND bass driver has been specifically developed for Murano. In order to deliver deep yet tight and fast bass in a small loudspeaker, the Cabasse engineers have miniaturised the concept of La Sphère’s 55cm woofer. The concave honeycomb membrane offers great rigidity and excellent damping which enables a large excursion without deformation. Guided by a long voice coil in the 45mm deep air gap of a 4-kilogram oversized motor, this driver gives the Murano’s bass the purity and strength of crystal.

Again clever usage of the Cabasse measuring protocol in the anechoic chamber takes into account measurements on the listening axis and at 360° for perfect control of the directivity and global power output in keeping with the Cabasse HDSE principle (Homogeneous Distribution of the Sonic Energy). The Murano, like the best Cabasse speakers with this adaptive technology ensure both direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous, enabling a rich detailed sound stage that is both encompassing in width and yet unflinchingly stable.

These wonderful speakers are available as a pair, and finished beautifully in Glossy Black.
